A Valentine's Day GiftWe received so many emails and pictures from people sharing their pet and animal stories that we feel obliged to give something back. We got pictures and videos of a donkey, deer, cats, dogs, tortoises, parrots, a ferret and many other creatures. We received a video of a rescue in Holland saving hundreds of horses. Many were added to the "Friends of the Cockies" web page but there are too many to add them all. Many said they see the Cockies as role models for all of us so this Valentine's Day, say it with feathers - and flowers, chocolates, wine. . . The list goes on! At least the feathers will be free. In consideration of people who said they are on dial-up slow modems, this page will give you choices of which Valentine's Day card you want to download by offering thumbnail images. When you click on one, you will get a bigger version in a new window you should close after saving onto your computer. Email the larger image to the love of your life. Just don't try to print them. The quality is not good enough for that. We received many emails from octogenarians and even from a person who is 90 years old who mated for life like cockies do. I hope you will still be able to put a sparkle in someone's eye and a smile on a face with your Valentine's Day Card.
