Ellie's cat (not to be confused with Alley Cat) is an indoors pet. Sadie is only allowed outside under strict supervision and even then there is a long cord attached to her collar. Just as well because cats can cause a lot of damage to native birds and other small animals. Ellie does allow her to catch moths and cockroaches but not lizards or anything else.
